In this video we will see how to make Muttai Kulambu . Muttai Kulambu is an ideal combination for rice and for chapathi. Well seasoned eggs along with delicious gravy makes it an excellent choice for serving it as a gravy / side dish. In this recipe we have made egg curry with tomato paste because tomato paste adds thickness and creaminess to our kuzhambu. But if you don't like the taste of raw paste you can definitely make this recipe by frying tomatoes. The consistency of the kulambu can be adjusted depending on what it going to be served with.

Ingredients
For Tomato paste
Onion 1
Tomato 4
green chilly 1 (optional)
ginger 1 small piece
garlic 5-8 cloves
For Gravy
Onion 100 gms
whole garam masala
curry leaves
red chilly powder 1 tspn
turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
chettinag gravy masala 1 tspn
chicken masala 1 tspn
salt for taste
egg 4 nos
How to make
1. first make the tomato paste with or without fry it
2. now add some gingelly oil in a pan fry the whole garam masala and onions in the oil
3. now add the paste to it and cook for 10 mins in medium flame
4. add all masala powders except chicken masala to the gravy and cook by adding some water for 5 mins
5. now add the chicken masala to it
6. now add the egg to it carefully and cook for 10 mins by closing the lid in medium low flame.
7. garnish it with corinader leaves
