Muttai Paniyaram – That sounded interesting to me when I saw this recipe in a chettinad cookbook. I tried it twice and instantly loved it for the soft and fluffy texture but made it for dinner so couldnt click it. So few weeks back made it again to post it here.I made tomato onion chutney to accompany and it was a yum combo.
Egg Paniyaram/Chettinad Egg Paniyaram is a quick and easy dish prepared with eggs. It can be had as a light breakfast or as a snack. You can make egg paniyaram even with dosa batter. Today we will learn how to make egg paniyaram without dosa batter following this easy recipe with step wise.
Chettinad Muttai Paniyaram Recipe is a traditional dish famous in the region of Tamil Nadu. It is filled with High protein egg and some extra spice to kick start your Breakfast in a healthy way. The Paniyaram Is usually made in a Paniyaram pan by using less of oil and shallow frying till it becomes crispy from outside, soft and gooey inside.
Serve the Chettinad Muttai Paniyaram along with onion and tomato chutney for a protein filled breakfast meal or you can also eat as a Tea Time snack.
Ingredients
Egg - 4 Nos
Green Chillies - 4 Nos
Onion - 100 Gms Finely chopped
Salt for Taste
How To Make
1.Take a small container and pour eggs to it one by one.
2.Add green chillies followed by that onions and salt for taste
to it and beat it well.
3.Beat the egg till the onion and chillies get mixed well.
4.Now heat a paniyaram kadai and add few drops of oil to it .
Then pour the beaten egg to it.
5.Cook in medium low flame for about 2 - 5 mins and turn them
cook the other side again for 2 - 5 mins.
